During today’s episode I speak with a true leader in the area of integrative medicine in this country, Dr. Kathi Kemper.
I was fortunate to meet and collaborate with Dr. Kemper as a new faculty. At the time, she recently moved to the North East to head the Center for Pediatric Education and Research at the Children’s Hospital in Boston.
Dr. Kemper’s has a unique ability to see diverse perspectives for solutions to clinical problems. She is a prolific writer, researcher and educator. In the past several years Dr. Kemper has served as a Professor of Pediatrics at the Ohio State University College of Medicine and Executive Director of their Center for Integrative Health and Wellness.
The findings of her recent research on burnout and resilience were very encouraging and empowering for anyone in the field of healthcare. I knew you’d appreciate her thoughts on the topics and was delighted to talk to her.
